Eddie Sender feat. Marcie - Please Forgive

29th July, 2008

Well Mixed Records returns with another fine trance release. Eddie Sender pairs up with Marcie on the vocals to create 'Please Forgive'. The release includes the original mix, a dub, radio edit and Danilo Ercole serves up the only remix. It's got a very summer feel to it, which is ironic seeing as I'm sitting here freezing my ass off at the bus stop in the middle of winter in Australia.

The track starts off nicely with a few vocal stabs to get you enticed and wanting more. When the vocals drop you know you're going to get an earful of bliss. The melody really resonates. I've found myself humming the melody in the lift whilst wandering around the building at work. The track isn't overly complex but coupled with Marcie's vocals Eddie Sender has done a great job delivering a tasty trance morsel.

Danny Ercole gives the track a dirty injection of chunky goodness. With a whopping bass line and slightly more atmospheric tone using some well placed delays he's added just what the doctor ordered for a remix.

I think removing the vocals for the dub seems to take some of the shine from the release. I know that some people prefer dubs and it's good to see it included in the release. The radio edit gets right into it starting off with the vocals and lets people know what the full version is all about.

I've been listening to this promo since the middle of last week and I can't get the vocals out of my head. I keep returning to my playlist and putting the release on replay for an hour or so while I work. I know I've been saying this a bit lately, but this track really is a sticker for me. My vote goes for the original mix while I'll definitely find a place for the remix. It's available now from Well Mixed Records and download stores.
