There are signs that EDM are getting more and more mainstream every day, sponsorship deals, partnerships, cross genre collaborations are a few. Sponsorships between clothing labels, hardware/software companies, music companies all make sense to DJ's and producers, its also another source of revenue and above all you get some kit out of it. This deal re-enforces that its possible for EDM to jump the gap and get a bit more recognition. I welcome these kinds of things cause you are able to see who's listening and paying attention in our industry.
